Here's a questions for the community as people argue about the B-4 203mm;

1. Would you prefer it to be tuned in its current iteration with stat adjustments. 3 shots with lower damage over a period of time.

or

2. Revert it back to what it was. 1 high damage shot.

Tuning the cooldown and the maybe reducing/removing the suppression would likely be priority on question 1.

Osttruppen are pretty good right now. Unless you don't use cover they trade very efficiently against enemy units, they just need support from P-Grens/MG's to win engagements but they don't really bleed unless you are taking terrible engagements constantly. Still not really sure why the balance team is changing them more, the changes make me a bit worried they will be stronger next patch and I don't really want the Osttruppen meta to return at least in 1v1. I like to mix them with Grens and spam sandbags everywhere once you unlock Entrenching Tools. I would assume most of the 1v1/2v2 players on the balance team know they don't need to be buffed at all so I'm not really sure who is putting these changes through honestly. Trying to make Ostruppen good in 4v4 will just ruin all other game types honestly.

Do note the patch note changes which are available for reading, they are less potent early on in exchange for a stronger LMG and that LMG arriving earlier. Prior to those changes, Osttruppen traded/won at mid and long-ranges against even Rifles and Tommies when in cover wars early game despite being cheaper and costing much less to reinforce than these units.

M10, I can agree with the reload veterancy being odd, but I will disagree with most factors on the unit. Yes, in team games and lane maps it'll always have issues, but I believe the unit is good enough for its cost.

It already puts a halt to the Panzer IV, Ostwind and can still pressure the OKW's Panzer IV which is almost 60+ more fuel. The StuG G does have better protection against things that are flung against it, but it's also slower, lacks a turret and cannot respond to situations on the battlefield as quickly - it can only attack people head on.

Its in the place like the SU-76. They are okay by themselves, but their cheap cost makes them more in a unit that operates in pairs to trios and other cheaper vehicles are used to help fill the gap such as Scotts for AI work. And it also means, for these units if you see a opening, you dive in and either get out or trade 1 M10 for on of their more expensive tanks.

And this is from a guy who has on Stream, used the M10 Train - and armor company - alot. It is definitely, however, not a unit that works like most other conventional units.

And with a sniper behind, how do they work?
Those vacuum tests Ostruppen vs other mainline infantry aren't taking in account that Ostheer is already starting with an HMG at T0, pioner with superior vision range and T1 including a sniper all of that more accessible with Ostruppen cheap price and more effective with their staying power.
Not to mention fast Pzgren that will destroy any infantry on the field at all ranges at 4 minutes mark with the early capping power provided by Ostruppen.

I've already stated they don't need to be as effective against other infantry as the Truppen are already backed by the MG 42 as mentioned above. The fact they can beat Tommies and Riflemen at their own effective ranges - long and mid respectively - without MG support says something.
